Openness and approachability are at the heart of Waltham Logistics, so getting connected online through our new website and Twitter has provided a huge platform from which we can engage with our customers.
As a small business providing quality warehousing and transport services to valuable customers, we at Waltham Logistics decided it was time to make ourselves and our services known to the world. We wanted to interact with both current and potential customers online, keep abreast of the logistics industry news and be a recognised source of logistical insights. To begin achieving these goals, step one was getting the right people to launch us on the web – Mediademon.
Conception to Launch – Our Website
We are now celebrating the launch of our shiny new website designed, developed, and hosted by the team of experts at Mediademon. We partnered with the Lincolnshire web design agency to produce a user friendly website with a fresh, professional appearance that could showcase our services.
To keep the website current, Mediademon created space for us at Waltham Logistics to keep you updated with the latest Waltham Logistics news. Most importantly, we want to hear from you so have displayed our phone number at the top of every page and a direct link to our email at the bottom. As standard, Mediademon have also ensured that the website is fully responsive so you can view it at your desk or on the go. We think they have done a fantastic job and are proud to unveil our website at www.walthamlogistics.co.uk.
Transporting Our Ethos to Social Media
Our website gives you the details of our service and story, but if you want to meet the people behind the desks without visiting us, then we figured social media would be one answer.
We discussed which social media sites we should dedicate precious time to and figured Google+ puts us on the map and LinkedIn makes us visible to businesses, so you can find us on both. However, we’ve gone super social on Twitter so we can engage with you and provide instant, unhindered access to us.
Joining the ‘Twittersphere’ under the @Wal_Logistics handle has enabled us to connect with thought leaders and innovators in the logistics sector so we maintain awareness of the latest movements and issues. Having a grasp of logistical innovations equips us to advise our customers accordingly. We also post logistical information and updates on the Grimsby area that we hope you will find helpful, and we even add in a few fun posts about what goes on in the office and warehouse! We want to convey to you the essence of the Waltham Logistics spirit and ethos – approachable people with the experience to deliver the help and information you need.
